Tigers add BC backup goalie through NCAA Transfer Portal

Boston College junior backup goalie Henry Wilder, 22, will reportedly be joining Colorado College this fall, meeting one of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference program’s bigger needs after senior Matt Vernon moved on to the professional ranks.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Needham, Mass. native went 0-1, with a 5.48 goals against mark and a .851 saves percentage in three appearances for the Eagles this past season. His career college stats are 4-6-0, 3.40 goals against with .891 saves percentage in 13 appearances.

His move through the NCAA Transfer Portal was first reported by the Grand Forks Herald.
