In the pros: Tiger in the playoffs update

Former Tiger captain Ryan Lowery, pictured during the regular season on April 3 against Hamilton, is on the Oklahoma City Barons' playoff roster but has yet to appear. He was on loan to the ECHL's Stockton Thunder before being eliminated by Alaska.

In the ECHL playoffs tonight, former Tiger Tim Hall will center the fourth line while Brian Swanson the first in Game 4 of the Alaska Aces’ series against Las Vegas. The Wranglers lead the series 2-1.

In the AHL, Gabe Guentzel recorded his first professional point, an assist, in Friday’s AHL playoff series-ending loss to St. John’s.

David Civitarese did not make an appearance in Hershey’s five playoff games. The Bears were eliminated on Saturday.

The second round gets underway tonight in the AHL. Three former Tigers — Brian Connelly, Mark Cullen, Ryan Lowery — all in the Western Conference, remain alive in those playoffs and are listed with their team.
