DULUTH — Junior forward Mike Seidel scored his 15th goal of the season 4:07 into the second overtime to lift Minnesota Duluth to a 3-2 win against Minnesota State as the Bulldogs swept a WCHA opening round playoff series on Saturday.

No. 3 Denver 3, No. 10 Wisconsin 1 (series tied 1-1)

DENVER — Senior forward Luke Salazar broke a 1-1 tie at 12:53 of the third period and the Pioneers would add an empty-net goal to draw even in a WCHA playoff series with a 3-1 win against Wisconsin on Saturday night at Magness Arena.

No. 6 St. Cloud State 3, No. 7 Nebraska Omaha 1 (SCSU wins series 2-0)

ST. CLOUD — Junior forward Ben Hanowski had a goal and an assist and junior goaltender Mike Lee made 32 saves to lead St. Cloud State to a WCHA playoff sweep against Nebraska Omaha with a 3-1 win on Saturday at National Hockey Center.

No. 1 Minnesota 7, No. 12 Alaska Anchorage 3 (UM wins series 2-0)

MINNEAPOLIS — Sophomore forward Erik Haula scored two goals and added two assists as Minnesota scored the final six goals of the game to defeat Alaska Anchorage, 7-3, on Saturday to advance to the WCHA Final Five.

    Weren’t 5 out of 6 series sweeps?

    • I did not include MTU and CC because it was not in the roundup.
