UPDATED Monday reading: Holmstrom, Rau called up; Bachman, J. Schwartz, Sterling, Sweatt, Saturday leftovers

Former Tiger Chad Rau, pictured at right, was called up Sunday by the Minnesota Wild, who play at Vancouver tonight. UPDATE: He is a healthy scratch Monday night according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

The Flyers recalled Colorado Springs native Ben Holmstrom, who will may play tonight at the Avalanche. It would be his third NHL game.

Jaden Schwartz remains in contention to be named as captain of Team Canada.

Richard Bachman will get his fifth straight start for Dallas against Anaheim Monday night live on the NHL Network.
