Thursday reading: Holiday tourney, AFA, UND, Duluth, Denver

Mike Moran makes a strong argument for Air Force, CC and perhaps Denver to take part in a holiday tournament at World Arena each December. I am all for it because I would love to see more hockey here and I do not have to find sponsors.

Here are the weekly notes for Air Force.

Here is a list of everyone missing from the North Dakota lineup this weekend.

No. 13 Minnesota-Duluth travels to No. 9 Notre Dame to renew an old WCHA rivalry (1971-81) this Thursday and Friday.

No. 7 Denver will focus on defense this season.

Michigan Tech hosts No. 1 Minnesota this weekend in WCHA play.
