Here is the lowdown on the incoming freshmen for Alaska-Anchorage.

Former North Dakota goalie Brad Eidsness, a past WCHA Scholar-Athlete, turned down a few chances at minor league pro deals to go to law school. The Grand Forks Herald features Eidsness in this feature with links to a current profile and another from when he first entered school.

Wisconsin coach Mike Eaves continues to mine the vein of talent in Chicago with his fourth commit from there in 10 months.

The Boston College athletic director announced that he will retire effective Oct. 1.
